Some information on setting USAPL California State records:
- You must be registered with USA Powerlifting as a resident of California to set USAPL California State Records.
-
All age-based California State records may be set with an Open division entry. Example: A lifter who is a Teen (14-19), Junior (20-23) or of Masters age (40+) may set Teen, Junior or Master records even if only entered in the Open division.
-
Lifters who set age-based records (Teen, Junior, Masters) must provide proof of age and notify the record keeper.
-
You can set California records in out-of-state meets sanctioned by USA Powerlifting, International Powerlifting Federation or any of its member federations. You must inform the state record keeper of this in order for your record to be honored. Proof of age (if applicable) and meet results/verification by meet director will be required. In addition, USAPL rules require records set in out-of-state meets be judged by National level referees or higher.
-
In the event where a raw record is higher than an equipped record, the raw record will replace the equipped record.
-
In the event that a record set in a full powerlifting meet exceeds a single lift record, the full meet record will replace the single lift record.
